The Oak Lawn Arts & Events Commission is a group of people who reside in Oak Lawn and are committed to bringing the community together through the arts and special events. They are also committed to supporting local artists and growing the the arts scene — visual, music, and theatre — in Oak Lawn.

Most notably, the Commission produces some of Oak Lawn’s signature events such as Fall on the Green, one of the largest festivals on Chicago’s southwest side. They also created the Acorns on Parade installations around the Village, installed in 2016. Other projects include Santa on the Green, the Easter Egg Hunt, and establishing an arts scholarship fund for rising college freshman.

Monthly meetings are usually at 7PM every third Wednesday of the month at Village Hall (9446 Raymond Ave). Anyone who is interested in the arts or special events are welcome to attend.

This site is dedicated to providing information and updates about the Village of Oak Lawn’s Arts & Events activities. If you have questions or need more information please email us at artsandevents@oaklawn-il.gov.
